Cheviot is known to most as being a great place to stop on your way to or from Kaikoura, being about half way between Kaikoura and Christchurch.

There are some fabulous places to eat, drink, get supplies, shop and fill up your car.  There is a lot more to Cheviot than you may have realised and it is well worth taking the time to visit for longer to discover all that the region has to offer.

We have some lovely walking tracks and many great cycling trails, suitable for all levels. You can go wine tasting or visit a hazelnut orchard and if your visit requires an over night stay, we have accommodation to suit everyone's needs, from a classic kiwi holiday homes to world-class B&B luxury.
